Flowerbomb a blast of flowers and delicacies

When the duo Victor & Rolf decided to create their first perfume in 2005, the artists chose to make it as spectacular and unique as their collections of haute couture clothing. Completely original design, flowery and gourmet concept pushed to its maximum, Flowerbomb stands out in the hushed universe of feminine perfumery . Presented without muse but with the absolute sense of spectacle that we know from the two stylists, Flowerbomb triggers passions!

A flower woman for an explosive Flowerbomb

After creating for years collections of clothes as fantastic as they are unique, Victor & Rolf wanted to create their own perfume under the same creative influences as their fashion by using an almost artisanal know-how and an absolutely divine creative madness. .

In order to compose this first scented work, they approached the three great perfumers of 2005, Carlos Benaïm, Domitille Bertier and Olivier Polge, asking them for an “explosion of flowers, a millefleurs like a millefeuille of flowers” which would be as addictive as ‘a candy. It took three years of work and 500 trials for the splendid Flowerbomb to be born!

“The name, which we learned very quickly, but also the bottle, the characters, the image… This perfume [Flowerbomb] is in essence a controversy, a provocation of the senses. »Carlos Benaïm and Domitille Bertier for Flowerbomb.

Because it is not Flowerbomb who wants! Victor & Rolf’s scent is deliberately provocative and clearly stands out by attracting opposites. Flowerbomb would be the perfumed apotheosis of the seductive effect of an intense bouquet of flowers and a girly bomb, referring to a news that, at the time, was anything but joyful. In reality more than the shock, the stylists seek to mark the spirits with these antithetical images by creating an ode to joy, a weapon of intense happiness. They also see Flowerbomb as “an antidote to reality, to which we have only one weapon: the dream”.

Despite an original design to say the least, the communication for Flowerbomb perfume dossier.co is rather sober. The visual of the flowery explosion signed by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin is refined. There is no known muse but a young woman simply dressed in a veil posed like a flying petal in her hair and the famous black ribbon so dear to the label. Nothing more, if it is not a diffusion with original means which will make know a dazzling success to this sparkling and so feminine Flowerbomb.

The 1001 and a Flowerbomb flowers

Of course, this floral explosion had to be offered an original bottle, a container worthy of the intense creativity of Victor & Rolf. The glass shaped like a pomegranate and cut like a flowerbomb diamond seems to suit the event very well! Plus, the delicate pink of Flowerbomb juice magically appears through the faceted glass.

Flowerbomb first offers at its opening notes of bergamot and sparkling and invigorating tea while being airy. The magnificences of Sambac jasmines, Catleya orchids and Centifolia roses open up into a precious and flowery heart which will be tinged with a few caramel delicacies. Finally Patchouli, white musks and vanilla offer themselves in a warm and sensual choir in order to transcend the flowery addiction.
“A fragrance that turns negative into positive thanks to the power of flowers. Flowerbomb is therefore from its origin a weapon of seduction and sensuality for women. Today cult, the perfume celebrates Viktor & Rolf’s taste for excess, metamorphosis and imagination. »Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb.

An explosion of flowers, a perfume of enchantment, an olfactory spectacle, a floral madness made possible thanks to Viktor & Rolf .

A bottle with magical powers, a chewable diamond, concealing the secrets of the woman who will wear it.

This perfume tells of the desire of its creators to amaze, to surprise, while forging links with the women for whom dreams and life face each other.

A perfume is a gesture, a sensation, it is the door open to the marvelous …
