Thierry Mugler Mugler Aura Eau de Parfum
Thierry Mugler’s Aura fragrance
Each of its fragrances is a real challenge, whether in terms of assembling scents or bottles. Therefore, each of its outings is eagerly awaited and has many surprises in store for us. The youngest of the house will therefore not escape the rule. The Aura perfume coils up in a beautiful bottle and delivers a delicious scent, as Thierry Mugler knows so well …
The gourmet and woody scent of Aura by Thierry Mugler
Aura is a fragrance that is both very different from its predecessors but which has managed to retain the DNA of the Thierry Mugler house. Indeed, Thierry Mugler is considered to be the initiator of gourmet perfumes, a trend particularly in vogue in the feminine perfume department. He created the very first sweet perfume in history, in 1992. Today it is world famous and is called Angel. Not wishing to change his signature, Thierry Mugler has chosen here to keep a gourmet trail. Aura then begins with a breath of rhubarb. This leaves a sparkling, green and whimsical sensation floating behind it. Both bitter and fruity, it is quickly relayed by a brighter heart containing orange blossom. This Mediterranean plant is a great classic in women’s perfumery and brings here a more solar aspect. Finally, Aura ends with a more syrupy and woody base emanating from vanilla.
Aura’s Bewitching Flask
Nevertheless, the new Aura would be nothing without its sumptuous bottle. Its container is particularly worked and its glass has been shaped here in a very sculptural way. The whole forms a sort of stylized heart and thus delivers a very strong message to us. Indeed, the heart is a symbol of love and emotions. Its scope is universal and it is moreover for its very strong connotation that it was chosen by Thierry Mugler, a designer usually attracted to the stars. The color green, for its part, also has a very symbolic significance. This cold shade symbolizes hope for Europeans. For the Chinese, it is a sign of spring and kindness. It represents the universal sap which gives birth. In India, green is the color of God Ganesha and relates to the sphere of creation. It is the emblem of eternity and rebirth. It is also a symbol of balance, renewal, love and harmony. You will understand, Aura is a scent of serenity and appeasement. It was unveiled to us with a very attractive advertising poster. Presenting a naked woman, it takes us to the heart of a lush forest. Only the luminosity of Aura seems to guide the steps of the young woman whose emerald green eyes are most bewitching. After presenting us with a talisman and gold, a star and a bluish universe, Thierry Mugler this time decided to immerse us in an intense green color for his new perfume named Aura. Presented in a bottle cut like an emerald, in the shape of a heart, this niche fragrance is a real concept. Far from prejudices and dogmas, he portrays us the image of a wild woman rediscovering her primitive instinct. So let’s take a closer look at how it shows in its scent. Focus on the very elaborate recipe for the new Aura by Thierry Mugler.
When Thierry Mugler unites the animal and plant world with his Aura fragrance
In making the Aura perfume, Thierry Mugler clearly had the ambition to give us the image of a divinity that is both bestial and vegetal. The idea is, with this perfume, to reconnect with its deep nature to let all its femininity and its aura explode. Thus, the Aura recipe is a kind of fusion between vegetal freshness and feline sensuality. Thierry Mugler has united two opposing worlds here: that of nature and that of animal life. To link the two, he chose to use the orange blossom, a solar and luminous plant, radiating on these two very different worlds. This comes here to unite a rhubarb leaf and more woody flavors. Rhubarb turns out sweet and sour, green and sparkling. It is opposed to wolfwood, an ingredient exclusively manufactured by the Firmenich company, releasing a woody, smoky, felted, animal and resinous scent. Finally, note that the whole is also linked by a hint of vanilla. This gives it a more syrupy and carnal side. This raw material further strengthens the sensuality of the Aura woman.
Aura, a scented composition signed by Daphné Bugey
To make this niche fragrance, Thierry Mugler has put in the dishes in the big names and has surrounded herself with one of the best perfumers on the planet. He called on the talented Daphné Bugey. Born in Grenoble, nothing predestined her to one day become a perfumer. However, it was a family trip to Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, that guided her professional choice. She was barely 12 years old at the time. Faithful to her convictions, Daphné Bugey later joined the prestigious Versailles perfume school. She graduated and was recruited by Firmenich, world leader in the manufacture of aromas for perfumery. Since that day, Daphné Bugey has put all her passion into each of her works and it is precisely this that we find in the Aura perfume by Thierry Mugler.
You will understand, Aura is an exceptional fragrance. What’s more, its innovative recipe is far from being its only asset. In our opinion , Aura has all the qualities to become one of the greatest perfumes of our decade.
AURA MUGLER signs the new imaginary and mysterious universe MUGLER, associating animal kingdom and plant power. A new vision of femininity emerges therein which invites everyone to “listen to her instinct” to reconnect with her deep nature, her senses …
and discover in her an unsuspected power.
Aura Mugler: A DOUBLE OVERDOSE
Excessive, addictive, as are all MUGLER fragrances, AURA MUGLER is built from a double pulse, a double overdose:
The fawn liana – The rhubarb leaf
One ANIMAL, deep and powerful – The other VEGETAL, radiant and leaping
So that in the center, A single beating heart
A single intense and vital emotion
YOUR INSTINCT – YOUR AURA
AN OBJECT OF ART
Proposed by Thierry Mugler, handcrafted by a sculptor, before being industrialized, the invoice of the bottle bears the mark of art.
Parful Aura: A SURREAL OBJECT
This thing that looks like a sleeping beetle
It’s a heart which pulsates
which pulsates e
It’s a living thing
It’s your heart.
